Your Farmington Cosmetic Dentists
CAD/CAM stands for computer aided design/ computer aided manufacturing. Have you ever seen a 3D printer? It scans an object and then replicates it. This is essentially what we are doing in dentistry. Instead of taking messy impressions of your crown prep we scan your tooth digitally. Then, instead of making models of your teeth and sending them to a lab to wait two weeks for them to send us your new crown we design and manufacture your crown in office. This eliminates the need for you to wear a temporary crown or to come back and be numbed up for a second visit. We do all of this for our patients for the same price you would pay to have a crown made the old way.
BOTOX Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of both moderate to severe crow’s feet lines and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults.
Did you know Dr. Watson is certified with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to administer Botox and fillers?
Dentists have advanced training in the oral and maxillofacial areas (that means the face from chin to forehead). They are familiar with how to take care of complications in these facial areas and do many more invasive procedures in the facial area than other physicians that typically administer Botox.
