Deidra Watson, Owner
I grew up in the dental office. My father is Dr. Harvey Weber. I started out as a child licking stamps and folding letters and then began doing more advanced clerical work. By the time I was a teenager I was working in the lab pouring up models. I received a Bachelor’s of Dental Hygiene from the University of Nebraska in 2002 and worked for six years at that profession while putting my husband through dental school. At the same time I went to night school for my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. We moved to Farmington in 2008. My husband, Dr. Travis Watson, and I purchased the practice from my dad in 2011. All the years I’ve spent in the office and my experience as a hygienist working in different offices and even the University setting have really helped me to understand the ins and outs of a dental practice and I enjoy being able to do a variety of jobs here.
Denyse Rector, Accounts Manager
I have been a part of the Pinon Hills Dental team since our new office opened in June of 2005. My interest in working in a dental office came from numerous personal visits throughout my life. I was given an amazing opportunity when I was offered this position. Upon hire the only experience I possessed was that of being a patient. I have since received my certification in Dental Radiography. Also, I have been an assistant to both Dr. Weber and Dr. Watson and currently work at the front desk where I handle scheduling and insurance billing. I look forward to assisting on a fill in basis, as I love a challenge and a change of scenery. It has been so rewarding getting to know the wonderful patients who come to our office. Working in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere is very important to me and I am thankful I have found that at Pinon Hills Dental.
Valoree Althoff, Hygienist
Growing up, I always loved going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. As I got older, I began thinking I would like to help other people gain a beautiful smile and confidence. I graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. I started at Pinon Hills Dental in 2006. In August 2009, I was married to my best friend, Andy. Together, we have two kids, labrador retrievers named Montana and Hazel. I am very active outside of the office in my professional association, the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. I have been elected to various positions at the local, state and national level including local society president, state secretary and delegate to the national conference, and since 2010, selected to serve on the ADHA Council on Member Services. I am passionate about working with the state and national legislatures through the ADHA to gain access to quality dental care for everyone.
Ginger Page, Hygienist
I grew up in Texas and moved to Farmington in 2001. Several years ago I worked at a local radio station as co-host on a morning show. I used to jokingly say that one day I would go back to college and get my degree in Dental Hygiene because then people would be "stuck listening to me...they couldn't change the station or turn down the volume." So that's exactly what I did! In 2008 I graduated from San Juan College with a degree in Dental Hygiene and have been cleaning teeth in Farmington ever since. With a background in radio I learned the importance of good communication. I have used that knowledge to try to effectively communicate with my patients and answer their dental questions as well as educate them in the importance of oral hygiene home care and professional disease. I feel honored to work at Pinon Hills Dental. I have absolute confidence in recommedning our office to my family and friends. I love being able to work in an office where everyone is professional and courteous and where we all respect our patients and take pride in the service we provide. In 2008 I married "the greatest guy ever" and between us we have 5 teenagers. As a family we enjoy riding dirtbikes, watching our kid's participate in various sporting activities, and spending the summers at Navajo Lake and Powell Lake.
